Head about an hour north to experience the serene beauty and captivating landscape of the Denver Botanic Gardens. Your love will grow roots as you meander through the countless paths of exotic flowers, shrubs, and trees. During the summer months, you can relax on the lawn will enjoying an outdoor live concert (they sell out early!). They host other special events as well including a Lavender Festival on July 21. 5. Play at an Arcade

It’s all fun and games at one of these arcades! Tap into your inner child at the famous Penny Arcade located in Manitou Springs. Where else can you play Skeeball, horse racing, and pinball, all in their original glory? The arcade sits adjacent to the historic Manitou Springs Spa building and two mineral springs. For a more adult crowd, head to Supernova located in Downtown Colorado Springs. Grab a libation at the bar and then play vintage video games including Pac-Man, Frogger, and Centipede.

 

6. Learn Together at a Museum
