If you only have time for one tour, make it this one! This established and popular tour highlights five distinctive local destinations that are the best in their class. You’ll visit some of the most loved restaurants in downtown Colorado Springs while hearing local history and fun facts. Each locale has a unique flavor with food that is both delicious and approachable.

Highlights of this tour include:

  • A three-hour guided dine-and-dash experience that provides a local’s look into Colorado Springs’ blossoming culinary scene
  • Ever-changing itinerary featuring delicious tastings from five local restaurants, hole-in-the-walls, and artisan food shops (enough for a full meal!)
  • Opportunity to include three preset pairings of Colorado craft beer, cocktails, and wine for only $15 (ages 21+ only – GF options)
  • Historical storytelling of Pikes Peak, the gold rush, the railroad, and more from one of our expert Tour Leaders

Public Tour Times: Thursdays and Fridays at 1:45pm / Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm
Small Group Tours: Is your group between 8-30 people? Talk to us about setting up a private food tour!

You’ve found it – the Original Colorado Springs Food Tour that started in 2010! Join us as we celebrate our local chefs, delicious local food, and the vibrant culture of our blossoming downtown on this roving food tour.

In just three hours, you’ll experience five of downtown Colorado Springs’ most distinctive culinary highlights. Each local hot spot will be ready and waiting to serve generous portions of their signature fare.

Your expert tour leader will share stories of our history as well! With tales of the original Antlers Hotel, founder William Jackson Palmer, Pikes Peak, Spencer Penrose, the railroad, and more, even locals will walk away having learned a thing or two.

For those 21 years and older, we invite you to elevate your experience by adding three drink pairings for only $15. Drinks may include wine, cocktails, hard cider, or Colorado craft beer. Pairings are set in advance according to your tour’s specific itinerary and are meant to compliment your tastings!

This tour is a social dining experience, so the capacity for all public tours is currently set at 12 guests. If you are interested in this tour as a private experience for your group, please contact us as we might be able to increase capacity. Tours run weekly, year round.

From corporate events to bachelorette parties, we do it all!

We love food. And we love the people who eat it, too! Our goal is to make sure you feel like a VIP from start to finish. Customer service is our highest priority. Click "Reviews" at the top to read about the 5-star reviews we’ve earned from previous guests.

You know that best friend who lives in another city and can’t wait to show you all of best places to eat when you visit? We're that friend! Let us take you to our favorite restaurants and show you the best-of-the-best of Colorado Springs.

We feature seriously good food. We don’t pick out the cheapest thing on the menu or give you a sample on a toothpick. Our food and drink pairings are born out of one-on-one meetings with chefs and owners to ensure we’re featuring signature dishes.

We strongly encourage each of our guests to review our regularly updated “COVID-19 Updates & Safety Procedures” page for a full overview of what we are doing to keep our guests, our partners, and our staff safe.

Yes! Guests are able to request vegetarian or gluten-friendly substitutes. In some cases, you may also request a menu that is nut-free, pork-free, or seafood-free. Please indicate all applicable dietary restrictions during the ticket purchase process.

This tour serves enough food for lunch, so come hungry!

We’ve developed a delicious itinerary and have set the menu and drink pairings in advance with each of our restaurant partners. Because of this, we do not allow a la carte ordering. You are always welcome to return to a destination after the tour to try whatever may have tempted your taste buds!

Leaving a 15-20% gratuity for your Tour Leader is customary, especially if you had a great time and wish to recognize them for a job well done! We recognize that most people don’t carry cash these days, so our guides are able to accept credit cards at the end of the tour. *NEW! You now have the option of pre-paying your gratuity with your ticket purchase!

Our public food tours are currently limited to 10-12 guests. Public tours may accommodate more. To inquire about setting up a private event, please find more information here.

This tour has been designed to be family-friendly, and we welcome young foodies who are 12+ years of age. For younger children, we ask you to consider their attention span and whether or not this event is appropriate for them. We ask that you do not bring children under the age of 5. Finally, please be aware that without a paid ticket, children will not be included in the seating reservation.

Thankfully, rarely if ever do we cancel due to weather! Luckily for us, Colorado experiences over 300 days of sunshine every year. Count on your tour taking place rain, snow, or shine. The only extreme exception may be if walkways become treacherous or roadways are closed. Tour guests are encouraged to dress comfortably and according to weather conditions. Casual attire with comfortable shoes is acceptable and encouraged. In the event of anticipated inclement weather conditions or when in doubt, we encourage you to bring accessories such as umbrellas, raincoats, gloves, hats or coats.

The Original Colorado Springs Food Tour has two different routes in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. One route meets near the intersection of Pikes Peak Avenue and N. Cascade Avenue, and the other route meets near the intersection of S. Nevada Avenue and E. Cimarron Street. Your exact meeting location and parking recommendations will be provided in your ticket confirmation email.

Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance of the tour start time will result in a complimentary date transfer or the original payment amount being added to a gift card for future use. Gift cards never expire, can be applied to any future public tour, and are transferrable. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash. Should you decide to purchase the $5 insurance per ticket, your amount paid can be refunded directly back to your method of payment (less the cost of the insurance).

If you cancel within 24 hours of your tour, no matter if you have insurance not, your ticket will be forfeited, and you will be considered a no-show.

If we need to cancel due to weather, state, city or county mandates or restrictions, health concerns related to the ongoing pandemic, or other unforeseen circumstances, including not meeting the minimum number of guests to run a tour, guests will be notified immediately and issued a gift card in the amount they paid. The only exception will be made for guests who purchase the $5 insurance per ticket.
