TOUR OVERVIEW

You’ve found it – the original Colorado Springs food tour that started in 2010! Join us as we celebrate our local chefs, delicious local food, and the vibrant culture of our blossoming downtown on this roving food tour.

In just three hours, you’ll experience five of downtown Colorado Springs’ most distinctive culinary highlights. Each local hot spot will be ready and waiting to serve generous portions of their signature fare.

Your expert tour leader will share stories of our history as well! With tales of the original Antlers Hotel, founder William Jackson Palmer, Pikes Peak, Spencer Penrose, the railroad, and more, even locals will walk away having learned a thing or two.

DRINK PAIRINGS

For those 21 years and older, we invite you to elevate your experience by adding three drink pairings. Each of the five destinations will serve a pre-set pairing – wine, cocktail, or Colorado craft beer – and you get to select your top three drinks, curating your own experience! (Pairings subject to change and/or be set due to current restaurant limitations.)

TICKETING DETAILS

This tour is a social dining experience, so the capacity for all public tours is set at 7 guests (due to current state-wide restaurant restrictions – this will increase as soon as we are allowed to do so). If you are interested in this tour as a private experience for your group, please contact us as we might be able to increase capacity. Tours run weekly, year round.

Leaving a 15-20% gratuity for your Tour Leader is customary, especially if you had a great time and wish to recognize them for a job well done! We recognize that most people don’t carry cash these days, so our guides are able to accept credit cards at the end of the tour.

Currently, due to state-wide restrictions, our tours must be limited to only 7 people (8 people including the Tour Leader). We will increase capacity once we are allowed to do so our public tours generally accommodate up to 14 guests. To book a private tour for your group, contact us for more information.

Thankfully, rarely if ever do we cancel due to weather! Luckily for us, Colorado experiences over 300 days of sunshine every year. Count on your tour taking place rain, snow, or shine. The only extreme exception may be if walkways become treacherous or roadways are closed. Tour guests are encouraged to dress comfortably and according to weather conditions. Casual attire with comfortable shoes is acceptable and encouraged. In the event of anticipated inclement weather conditions or when in doubt, we encourage you to bring accessories such as umbrellas, raincoats, gloves, hats or coats.

“Food Tour Rocks!”

We had a great experience with Roger enlightening us with his extensive knowledge of Colorado Springs. Even though we have lived here most of our lives, we learned lots of new bits of history.
