Born in Colorado Springs. Fed by Curiosity.
We started with a simple belief: the best way to know a city is to eat your way through it. Since 2010, that belief has guided over 25,000 guests through the flavors of Colorado Springs.

More Than a Tour Company
Rocky Mountain Food Tours was born from a love of Colorado Springs — its people, its neighborhoods, and the restaurants and makers who call it home. Founded in 2010, we set out to create experiences that would connect visitors and locals alike to the authentic heart of our city.
Today, we're Colorado Springs' most recognized culinary experience, with five distinct tours, a roster of passionate local guides, and partnerships with dozens of beloved local businesses. Every year, we welcome thousands of guests through the doors of restaurants, breweries, bakeries, and artisan shops that define what Colorado Springs tastes like.
But we're more than a food tour. We're storytellers, community builders, and advocates for the local businesses and causes that make Colorado Springs great.
Proud partner of Care & Share Food Bank. A portion of every tour booking supports food security in Southern Colorado.
16 Years of Flavor
Founded as Colorado Springs Food Tours with our first walking tour, “Delicious Downtown.” Added a Manitou Springs dinner tour later that fall.
Launched the “Wild West” dinner tour in Old Colorado City, hired our first tour guides, and earned our first TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
Debuted downtown Colorado Springs’ first cocktail and brewery tours. Paused Manitou Springs operations during the Waldo Canyon Fire to support the community.
Founder Samantha earned her MBA in Innovation Management from UCCS, took sole ownership, and rebranded as Rocky Mountain Food Tours — a new identity that won Gold at the American Advertising Awards.
Paused tours during COVID and pivoted to a gift box company spotlighting Colorado-made products.
Launched our first holiday-themed pop-up food tours and earned TripAdvisor’s “Best of the Best” — top 10% of experiences worldwide.
Won the Excellence in Customer Service Award from Visit Colorado Springs and launched the Gold Medal Food Tour with the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum.
