Sip and savor at these seven dog-friendly restaurants and breweries in Colorado Springs!

Head out for a walk in any neighborhood in Colorado Springs, and you’re likely to bump into at least ten dogs on your journey. Coloradans love their pups, which naturally means that Colorado is full of dog-friendly spots, and Colorado Springs is no exception!

With warm weather and sunshine ahead, you and your furry friend are likely itching to get out and enjoy some of your favorite local Colorado Springs’ establishments.

Not sure where to start? Here’s the list of our seven favorite dog-friendly restaurants in Colorado Springs, in no particular order!

Switchback Coffee Roasters

330 N. Institute St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903 and 909 E. Moreno Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Start your day off right with a cup of coffee from this local joint and don’t forget to bring your pup along. The staff at Switchback Coffee Roasters’ two Downtown Colorado Springs locations simply adore dogs and welcome all the furry visitors they can get.

Their patio spaces offer the perfect opportunity to soak up Colorado sunshine and enjoy delicious food, pastries, and of course, coffee drinks. Your dogs will be welcomed with loads of love and water bowls!

Our recommendation for humans: We love their 50/50 Iced Coffee, the perfectly sweetened coffee treat for warm summer days. Pair your coffee with their breakfast sandwich — which might just be the best breakfast sandwich of all time — made from a locally made classic bagel, egg, smoked ham, sharp cheddar cheese, and green chile salsa.

Pub Dog Colorado

2207 Bott Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80904

Pub Dog Colorado is quite literally made for dogs. In fact, it’s the only restaurant in the state of Colorado where it’s legal to eat inside with your pup! Order your beer and grub at the indoor bar and head outside to their 3,000 square foot, fenced-in dog park where your fur babies can play off-leash while you enjoy the sunshine and a local beer.

Their menu is fit for humans and pups, serving up burgers, quesadillas, sandwiches, cocktails, beer, and more. Treat your pup to a Pupsicle, Puppy Patties, and even a non-alcoholic Dog Beer!

Our recommendation for humans: We love their “Man’s Best Friend O.F.” cocktail, made from mythology bourbon, blackberry, and house-made citrus marmalade. For food, grab yourself a bowl of their Chow Chow Chili, a hardy mix of beef, black beans, tortilla chips, sour cream, cheese, and green onion.

Cerberus Brewing Co.

702 W. Colorado Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80905

Head to Cerberus Brewing Co. to give yourself and your pup some true royal treatment. Their patio, beer garden, and outdoor tent areas offer plenty of space for you and your dog. They even offer their furry patrons their own bowl of water and a homemade spent grain dog treat. We love it!

Our recommendation for humans: While you pretty much can’t go wrong, we recommend the “Pike Ride Revolution IPA,” “Perpetual Cycle Pilsner,” and the “No Big Deal German-Style Kolsch.” For food, get yourself a Great Plains Bison Burger, made with applewood smoked blue cheese, caramelized onions, roasted tomatoes, garlic aioli, and a pretzel bun.

Goat Patch Brewing Company

2727 North Cascade Ave., #123, Colorado Springs, CO 80907

Goat Patch Brewing Company is the self-proclaimed “home of the balanced brews” and they live up to their name with every sip. This local favorite is located in the Lincoln Center, one of Colorado Springs’ reimagined elementary schools, where community and great libations are found at every turn. And the best part? They’re incredibly dog-friendly! Their patio space offers plenty of room for your pup to lounge and enjoy the sunshine with you and your friends.

Goat Patch offers great craft beer and rotating food trucks, which allows you to try something new with each visit.

Our recommendation for humans: We recommend trying “It Takes A Tribe Red Ale”, “Figgy Booze Juice Winter Ale,” or the “Oak Aged Baltic Porter.” Pair your beer with food from whatever delicious food truck is on deck!

TRiNiTY Brewing Co.

1466 Garden of the Gods Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80907

TRiNiTY Brewing Co. has it all — great food, mountain views, and space for you and your canine companion! TRiNiTY is located right off of Garden of the Gods Road, making it the perfect stop after a long hike on one of the many nearby trails. Not only does TRiNiTY offer ample patio space, but they also have water bowls and house-made dog treats.

The real proof that they’re one of Colorado Springs’ most dog-friendly spots, however, is found on the @DogsOfTRiNiTY Instagram profile. Their bio states, “We love our dogs here at Trinity Brewing in Colorado Springs, your number 1 spot for all your dog-friendly beers and food!”

Our recommendation for humans: Try the “Slap Yer Mammy,” “Garden Of The Hops,” or the “Koelorado Currant.” Pair your beer with their Beer Pretzel and their homemade beer cheese soup!

Bristol Brewing Co.

1604 S Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80905

Bristol Brewing Co. is located at the Ivywild School, just south of Downtown Colorado Springs. Bristol is an independent, family-owned craft brewery and one of many businesses based out of this historic elementary school turned multi-use space.

Their love for pups is shown through their large, dog-friendly patio, and of course, their most popular flagship, specialty malt beer, Laughing Lab Scottish Ale. They even started a hashtag #ShowUsYourLab to encourage customers to find the Bristol beer that best represents their furry friend.

Our recommendation for humans: Aside from Laughing Lab, we recommend the Beehive Honey Wheat, described as “sunshine in a glass.”

The Garden

401 S Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

The Garden is a newer addition to downtown Colorado Springs, and they love welcoming pups and their owners to their large outdoor patio. This craft beer garden offers a large selection of local brews on tap, but that’s not all. They also have an extensive wine, cocktail, coffee, and even smoothie menus to satisfy all tastes.

Bring your dog out to The Garden to enjoy their weekly events including free movie night on Tuesdays, wine Wednesday, concerts on Friday, and Sunday morning brunch.

Our recommendation for humans: The Garden hosts several food trucks throughout the week. We recommend the Mezze Platter from Zatar & Olive, which features an array of tasty morsels including seasonal fruit, grilled vegetables, cheeses, olives, hummus, and more. Pair it with an Oat Milk Honey Lavender Latte!
