Newly Stationed in Colorado Springs? Take A Food Tour

Newly stationed military families or visitors to Colorado Springs military installations can get a taste of the local food scene with a food tour.

Colorado Springs began as a resort town, but today it’s home to five major military bases including:

  1. United States Air Force Academy,
  2. Fort Carson Army Base,
  3. NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command),
  4. Peterson Air Force Base, home to North American Aerospace Defense Command, and
  5. Schriever Air Force Base, home to 50th Space Wing of the Air Force Space Command.

More than 25,000 troops are stationed in Colorado Springs. The economic impact is significant. The bases employ some 60,000 people and contribute almost $6 billion to the local economy.

All of this military activity means military personnel moving in and out of Colorado Springs, plus there are a lot of military and civilian visitors to these military installations on official business.

Whether you are a newly stationed family now living in Colorado Springs or are planning a trip to one of the bases or defense offices, why not include a Rocky Mountain Food Tour to experience all that Colorado Springs has to offer?

We’re rated #1 on TripAdvisor for Food and Drink in Colorado Springs!
