Depending on what your teens love and are enthusiastic about, you can choose to explore:

 

1. Whitewater Rafting

If your teens are the adventurous type, there is no better way to quench their thirst for adventure than through whitewater rafting. There are a variety of rivers to explore including the Arkansas River which is one of the most famous places for whitewater rafting in the United States. You can engage your teens in battling it out with class IV or V rapids present at the Royal Gorge on the Arkansas River. 2. Ziplining

Ziplining is another thrilling adventure that most teens have grown fond of nowadays.  The good thing about this activity is that it can be tried by the entire family. Head over to the Royal Gorge and give your family the chance to enjoy 20 zipline courses offered by the Royal Gorge Zipline Tours operated on top of the plateau. This adrenaline-packed adventure allows your teens to enjoy majestic views as they fly in an over 2-mile course range. They can choose any course ranging from classic to extreme, with the extreme line being one of the fasted in North America. 3. Rock Climbing

Rock climbing is one of the best activities to engage in with your teens as you bond and build stronger relationships. Colorado Springs is the perfect place to try both indoor and outdoor rock climbing at different areas. CityRock is arguably the top location to check out with your family as they offer the best of both indoor and outdoor climbing adventure. It’s an expansive facility with 15, 000 square feet of roped climbing, 43 climbing walls, and over 200 square feet of unique cave passages. Another great spot to check out for outdoor rock climbing is the Garden of Gods Visitor & Nature Center. 4. Segway Rides

The company provides Segway Tours through the Garden of the Gods that comprise of exhilarating rides on Segways as you traverse one of nature’s greatest wonders (the garden). A short training session on how to ride a Segways will be conducted for all riders before the start of the tour.
