Where does this tour start?

This tour starts at The Antlers Hotel in downtown Colorado Springs. Parking tips and recommendations are disclosed in your confirmation email. Please arrive 15 minutes early and wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes.

I have a food restriction. Can you tweak my tastings?

You bet! When you buy your tickets, you'll have the opportunity to "Customize your ticket." Select "Request Menu Modification" and you'll see a list of common dietary restrictions appear. Don't see yours? Shoot us a note at info@rockymountainfoodtours.com, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request!

How much food is served?

We curate tastings to add up to a satisfying lunch for most people, so bring your appetite!

Question 4

How much walking is involved?

Accepted Answer

This tour covers approximately .7 mile from the starting location to the final tasting location. However, this tour does not make a complete circle, and the ending location is approximately .5 mile from the starting location, making it a total of about 1.2 miles. Take advantage of ZEB, the city's free trolley bus that runs along Tejon St. approximately every seven minutes.

What if we're running late to our tour?

If you're running late, please let your tour guide know. You will receive a text from him or her the morning of your tour. Otherwise, please reach out to us at (719) 322-5731. We'll make sure you get connected with your group as soon as possible! Please note that we are unable to box food for any tastings missed due to being late.

Can I order my own food or drinks?

Our tastings and drink pairings are pre-set with our restaurant partners, so in the interest of time and tour flow, we don't allow a la carte orders except at the final location.

Should we tip our Tour Leader?

Accepted Answer

If you had a great time (and we think you will!), tipping your Tour Leader 18–22% is customary and appreciated. No cash? No problem! You can add gratuity when you buy your tickets or tip your guide with cash, Venmo, or card at the end.

What if I have a big group (more than 8 people)?

Love it! You're welcome to book tickets on our public tours, but groups of 8+ can also book a private tour for a more personalized experience. Reach out, and we'll help you get it set up!

Is this tour kid-friendly?

We welcome young foodies ages 5 and up! When bringing a child, we kindly ask that you to consider their attention span and whether they'd enjoy a walking tour that is designed for adults. Please note that we don't allow children under 5, and without a paid ticket, kids will not be included in our seating reservations.

What if the weather is bad?

Luckily for us, Colorado gets 300+ days of sunshine! Our tours happen rain, snow, or shine, unless conditions get extreme. Dress comfortably and for the weather, and consider bringing umbrellas, raincoats, hats, or gloves just in case.

Enjoy FREE cancellation up to 72 hours before your tour! Cancel or reschedule for a full refund. Add optional trip protection (10%, non-refundable) to cancel up to 3 hours prior the start time. Tour cancellations due to weather or operational reasons will receive a full refund. Book with confidence — we've got you covered if plans change.

We know it's frustrating when the date you want is already sold out! Don't worry — adding your name to the waitlist is the best way to stay in the loop. Sometimes last-minute spots open up, and if enough space becomes available for your party — or if there's enough interest to add a new tour — we'll contact you immediately.
