The Colorado Pumpkin Patch at Colorado Kids Ranch is one of the most popular fall destinations near Colorado Springs. Located in Monument, the farm is packed with activities for kids, making it easy to spend several hours enjoying a beautiful Colorado fall day.
Open: September 16–October 31, 2026
Hours: Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. In September, open Wednesday–Thursday from 9am–1pm and Friday–Sunday from 9am–5pm. In October, open Wednesday–Sunday from 9am–5pm.

Colorado Springs
2. Miners’ Pumpkin Patch
Western Museum of Mining & Industry | 225 North Gate Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80921
The Western Museum of Mining & Industry hosts its annual Miners’ Pumpkin Patch every Saturday throughout October. This one is especially fun because it combines classic pumpkin patch activities with Colorado mining history.
Along with picking out a pumpkin, families can watch historic mining machinery demonstrations, try their hand at gold panning, see blacksmiths at work, and take a tractor-pulled hayride.
Open: Every Saturday in October — October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, 2026

Tickets: $13 in advance / $15 at the gate / Children 3 and under are FREE. Pumpkins are an additional charge.

This beautiful family-owned farm offers plenty to keep the entire family entertained. Enjoy a hayride, explore the farm, snap some fall family photos, and relax beneath the cottonwood trees.
Long Neck Pumpkin Farm is also home to The Lopsided Pumpkin, a children’s book written by Mrs. Longnecker. A second book, Farmer Kevin: Work & Fun on the Farm, is new for 2026!

4. The Patch

And there’s something completely new for 2026: Harvest Glow Nights! Beginning October 2, the farm lights up Friday through Sunday evenings for a nighttime light show included with regular admission.

If you’re looking for a more traditional farm experience without the price tag of some of the larger fall festivals, Cottonwood Farm is a great option.
This family farm keeps the focus on the harvest, farm animals, pumpkins, and classic fall fun. Borrow one of their red wagons and head out to the pumpkin patch to find your favorite!

8. Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch

Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch offers two different ways to enjoy fall. Visit during the week for a more relaxed pumpkin patch experience, or head there on the weekend for the full carnival atmosphere.
The farm is also home to a Certified Organic farm stand, making it a fun stop for anyone who wants to stock up on local produce along with their pumpkins.
Fall Festival: September 17–November 1, 2026
Hours: Open daily. Activities run from 9am–5:30pm, with the farm closing at 6pm. October 31 hours are 9am–4pm.
Admission: Entry to the farm is FREE. Activity wristbands and carnival attractions are additional.

9. Maize in the City

Want to get seriously lost this fall? Maize in the City is home to an enormous 20-acre corn maze along with a smaller mini maze for younger children.
One of the best things about Maize in the City is that admission to the festival grounds is FREE. Instead of paying one large admission price, families can choose which attractions they want to experience and pay for them individually.
Open: Beginning September 19, 2026. Weekends initially, expanding to Thursday–Sunday beginning October 15.
Tickets: Admission to the site is FREE. Individual attractions generally range from free to approximately $20+ per person.

10. Trinity Acres Pumpkin Patch

Trinity Acres continues to grow! What started as a newer Colorado pumpkin patch now features more than 25 attractions, and the farm added several major experiences for 2026.
New this year are a corn maze, expanded barn and petting zoo experience, new farm animals, barrel train coaster, Bubble Barn, Candy Cannon, Tractor Pull Challenge, and more.
