Rocky Mountain Food Tours

For our Valentine’s Day celebration, my husband & I joined The Springs Food Tours group for a wine and dessert tour in Old Colorado City. We discovered four entirely different kinds of food establishments, enjoyed a luscious dessert at all four, and tasted some excellent wines at three of them. We will definitely go back to Motif for the small but decadent frozen lollipop truffles, to The Creamery for ice cream when the weather warms up, to Simply Bliss to pick up some sweets and other prepared food to take out, and to Garden of the Gods Gourmet for cooking lessons and dining before dinner at their 360 Cafe at the Fine Arts Center. As with the Brew Tour, Samantha kept track of the time and kept us on schedule. Darrell added to the experience by telling us a fascinating tale from pioneer days in Colorado.
